Sometimes, there’s nothing better than decorating with fresh flowers.
The only problem is… well, they don’t exactly withstand the test of time.
That’s where instead of just throwing your flowers away when they’re near their expiration date… dry them instead!
Here’s five ways to use and decorate with dried flowers by home edit:
1. Leave them hanging.
Anyone who dries flowers on their own knows that hanging them upside down is a primary step of the whole process. Instead of taking them down after drying them…try this… Leave them hanging from their drying strings opposed to taking them down. This adds a very creative whimsical element to decorating with dried flowers. I love it!

2. Press them
Pressing flowers is a great way to create beautiful artwork or even a book of flowers for the coffee table. Pressing flowers isn’t difficult at all and there are a few ways you can do it. Like the other ways mentioned above, this gives a boho-vintage vibe, but is so gorgeous for the home.
Just because a bouquet of roses you’ve gotten are now all dried up, it doesn’t take away from their natural beauty. Instead missing the the feeling of fresh, young flowers, keep the dried buds in that vase. It’ll instantly transform into a romantic, old-age piece adorning your table.
