The lighting in your home is just as important as everything else in it.
Did you know bad lighting actually has a negative impact on you as well.
It can cause bad moods, eye strain, headaches, low productivity, even cause accidents. Plus, it’s just ugly.
And think about it… If everything else in your home is stylish and chic,
why shouldn’t the same apply to the lights that illuminate your home?
If you’re a victim of bad lighting, this blog post is for you.

Now, isn’t this beautiful lighting for the home? It’s elegant and sophisticated. And while the design is unusual, it certainly adds a unique look that’s also very contemporary to the home. The Etch Light Web is a true experimentation of mathematics and geometry.
The light fixture consists of an irregular pentagon shape that is repeated 60 times across the body. Think it’s heavy? Guess again! It’s only two and a half pounds. It’s made up of copper anodized aluminum and the design is made through a process of digital photo-acid etching. In the center is a larger than normal LED light blub. It’s also a little over two feet wide, so it’s certainly a conversation piece for the home.
I just love the pattern it casts. It’s so pretty.
Have you fallen in love with it yet? I know I have.
Well, it can be yours for only $1,295
If a web of light isn’t what you’re exactly looking for, the Etch Light Web also comes in the Etch Shade as well. Now this design is similar to the Etch Light Web, except the shadows it casts isn’t as dramatic. This lamp much more subtle, but just as beautiful.
This lampshade is also engineered by a mathematical formula. It’s digitally manufactured. What that means is, the same processed used to make circuit boards, and other electronic products. This process is what made that detailed design to be cut into the metal.
These “geodesic structures” are constructed of sections of metal sheets. These metal sheets contain basically contain a mathematical equation that allows for an intricate design both on the lamp itself but also in the shadows it casts.
