Lately, I’ve been so obsessed with the color teal and turquoise.
Slowly but surely the color is taking over my life… my wardrobe…
And now, my blog posts.
This hip-looking restaurant is Nando’s. It’s a chain restaurant specializing in Portugese-style chicken that started in South America in 1987 and has since then expanded. Their casual style and creative branding has made them successful in the global market.
One location in particular located Ashford, in Kent, England is noteworthy. The UK-based design firm Blacksheep (known for their restaurant and hotel interiors) created this space with the client and location in mind. Not only does the interior design of the restaurant fit Nando’s branding style, but the various pops of turquoise are a very nice and stylish touch.
“ Blending modern and rustic is not always easy but they seem to have done it well.”
The pops of turquoise add a visual impact. Similar to how Tangerine Tango is used this year. The color also helps break up the space and liven things up a bit. What do you think? Would you eat here?
Nando’s is very much into the South American art scene, which can be seen filling up the walls of their locations. One thing I really about the interior of this place is the combination of vintage and modern design. And of course the turquoise decor. Love the turquoise decor.
